TMJ and splint therapy (CMD)
Jaw clicking, grinding, tension, headaches: craniomandibular dysfunction (CMD) is often behind it. We diagnose thoroughly and treat with individual splints – holistically.

What it is about
TMJ and splint therapy (CMD) – briefly explained
The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) is one of the most complex joints in the body. Malfunction caused by stress, teeth grinding, misalignment or tooth loss can trigger pain in the jaw, face, neck and head, tinnitus and sleep disturbances.
We examine the muscles, joint and bite, check with imaging where needed, and fit an individual occlusal splint. It relieves the joint and muscles, protects the teeth from wear and is regularly readjusted. Where sensible, we work together with physiotherapy, osteopathy and neural therapy.
