Ceramic Crowns and Bridges

When a tooth has lost a lot of substance or is missing: all-ceramic crowns and bridges made from zirconia or glass ceramic – no metal framework, no grey margins, biocompatible.

What it is about

Ceramic Crowns and Bridges – briefly explained

A crown covers the entire tooth and stabilises it – after extensive decay, root canal treatment or a fracture. A bridge replaces missing teeth, anchored to neighbouring teeth. With us, always made from all-ceramic material: zirconia for high load-bearing areas, glass ceramic for the highest aesthetics in the front-tooth region.

We work with digital impressions – no gag reflex, a more precise fit – and an experienced ceramics laboratory. As an alternative to a bridge, we always check whether a ceramic implant makes more sense: it spares the neighbouring teeth that would otherwise need to be ground down for a bridge.

In detail

Crown, bridge or implant?

Preserving the tooth

Bridge vs. implant

Bridge: fast, but neighbouring teeth are ground down. Ceramic implant: spares neighbouring teeth, preserves bone.

  • Metal-free either way
