3. Visiting the website

3.1 Server log data

When you access the website, your IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type and operating system are stored in log files for technical reasons. This data serves security and smooth operation and is deleted after 30 days.

3.2 Hosting and security

The website is delivered via Cloudflare Inc. (USA) and protected against attacks. Access data is transmitted to Cloudflare in the process. Cloudflare is certified under the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses apply in addition.

3.3 Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies and does not use any analytics or advertising tools.

3.4 Contacting us

If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide (name, contact details, content of your enquiry) to respond to your request and to arrange appointments.

3.5 Online appointment booking

For online appointment booking we use Denteo (Denteo AG, Zurich). Booking takes place on the Denteo platform; the data you enter there is stored in Switzerland and transferred into our practice system. Denteo's own privacy policy applies in addition.

3.6 External content

For directions, we embed map material from Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd.). When the map loads, your IP address is transmitted to Google.

4. Patient data at the practice

4.1 Purpose and legal basis

For treatment we collect personal details, contact data, insurance data and health data (medical history, findings, X-rays, treatment records). This is based on the treatment agreement, our statutory documentation obligations and your consent. All data is subject to professional confidentiality (Art. 321 of the Swiss Criminal Code).

4.2 Practice software

We keep patient records electronically using Denteo (Denteo AG, Zurich). Denteo processes the data as our processor and stores it in Switzerland.

4.3 Disclosure

Data is disclosed only where necessary for treatment or billing, or where legally required: to health and accident insurers (cost coverage, billing), dental laboratories, referring or co-treating physicians and dentists, and authorities where legally obliged. We do not disclose any further data without your consent.

4.4 Retention

We retain medical records for at least 10 years after the end of treatment, in accordance with the Health Act of the Canton of Zurich, after which they are deleted or destroyed.

5. Data security

We protect your data with appropriate technical and organisational measures (access restrictions, encryption, staff training) against unauthorised access, loss and misuse.

6. Disclosure abroad

Patient data remains in Switzerland. Operating the website may involve a transfer to the USA (see sections 3.2, 3.6); this is safeguarded by an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.

7. Your rights

You have the right to information (Art. 25 FADP), rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability in a common format (Art. 28 FADP), and to object to processing insofar as no statutory obligations preclude this. Please contact us at the address above; we will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

8. Changes

We may amend this notice as needed. The version published on the website at any given time applies.
