What it is about
Aligner Therapy – briefly explained
Aligners are a series of individually made, transparent plastic trays. Each tray moves the teeth a small step; every one to two weeks you switch to the next one. You remove them for eating and brushing. Treatment is planned on a computer – you see in advance what your smile will look like and how long it will take.
Suitable for crowding, gaps, tilted or rotated teeth, relapse after earlier braces – and as a tissue-preserving preparation before veneers. After treatment, a retainer secures the result.

What patients ask us
Does aligner treatment hurt?
After each change you feel slight pressure for a day or two – a sign that the teeth are moving.
How long does it take?
Mild cases take 6–9 months, moderate cases 12–18 months. The simulation shows this in advance.
Are aligners suitable for teenagers?
Yes, with good cooperation; we discuss this with parents and child.
What does treatment cost?
It depends on scope and duration; after the simulation you receive a binding cost estimate.
